Over the past 6 years, I've helped entrepreneurs, just like you, navigate the legal side of their creative businesses. I consider myself to be an advocate for culture creators, and with the help of my team at C. Handy Law, work tirelessly to help creatives build businesses built for impact.

At C. Handy Law, we pride ourselves on being deal-makers and help clients close big contracts with their dream brands. Some of the contracts we've negotiated include talent and partnership agreements with Facebook, Universal Music Group/Publishing, Empire Distribution, Proctor & Gamble, Paramount Pictures, Warner Music Group, and Coca-Cola.

I wholeheartedly believe that every creative should have the resources they need to live their wildest dreams, with the security of knowing that their most valuable assets are protected!

Prior to starting my own law practice, I gained valuable legal experience working with a LA and Houston-based entertainment law firm, interning with the legal department of General Electric, and clerking for both State and Federal Judges. I graduated from Alabama State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Recording Industry. I earned my J.D. with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law where I served as the Symposium Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. I also hold a Certification in Mediation and Global Arbitration from Queen Mary University of London.

When I'm not serving my clients, I can be found educating creative entrepreneurs on my podcast, volunteering with Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA), playing the piano, and traveling to various sports venues with my husband.
