Anissah Marie Andang

Anissah Marie Andang is a Managing Partner and an accomplished litigator at Nguyen and Chen, LLP. Since early 2013, her role at Nguyen and Chen has been elevated to oversee an active litigation docket for a wide variety of civil matters with a focus on complex commercial disputes and business litigation before state and federal courts. Her matters often involve business torts, contract disputes, restrictive covenants, trade disputes, shareholder disputes, deceptive practices, non-competes, non-solicitations, fraud, construction litigation, and derivative actions. In addition to her commercial and business litigation practice, Anissah honors her firm’s commitment to providing complete legal services to its clients by representing them in a wide variety of family law matters.

As a results-oriented litigator, Anissah enjoys working with her clients to find successful resolutions to their matters, whether via judgment or negotiated agreement. With her experience in complex litigation, Anissah knows that the path to the optimal outcome is never an obvious one, and she is always focused on her clients’ strategic objectives. At the same time, her diligent and disciplined approach allows her to navigate through the tactical processes necessary to reach those objectives.

Anissah Andang has been recognized in the legal community for exhibiting excellence in her legal practice. She was selected by Super Lawyers ® to be included in the 2021 Rising Star List, which is a distinction reserved for no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state of Texas. In early 2019, Anissah was invited to serve as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, honor and distinction given to only 1/3 of 1% of attorneys in the state of Texas each year. She is also active in the legal community and her alma mater as a Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and a Member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association for the University of Texas at Austin. Anissah is licensed to practice law in all courts of the State of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
