The only sure way is for you to apply for her permanent residence. It will take 90 days for an advance parole, so you need to look at the timeline...

I came to US on Mar 2011 from India & my passport was expiring on Sep 2011 so the immigration officer granted me I-94 till then

If they returned it with the checks and did not give a receipt notice, then the filing date will be from the second mailing. the school DSO...
