Victor Alberto Ayala Oriard

Business-oriented attorney, licensed to practice law in Texas and Mexico. I graduated from the Master of Laws program at the University Of Texas School Of Law, and have significant experience on compliance, contracts, foreign investment regulations and cross-border transactions. 

Prior to the University of Texas, I received my law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. I also hold a post-graduate diploma in corporate law from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (“ITAM”). During my professional career in Mexico, I was an associate attorney at Pérez de la Peña y Asociados, a boutique firm specialized in corporate and finance law. This experience, coupled with my work as associate attorney at Dentons Lopez-Velarde, one of the most respected firms in the corporate and energy practice in Mexico, where my responsibilities included advising clients on corporate, energy matters (oil, gas, renewables) and major infrastructure projects.

During my second semester of the Master of Laws program, I had the opportunity to be selected as legal intern at WP Engine, a prestigious technology company based in downtown Austin. After graduation from the University of Texas School of law, I was hired as international associate at Dorantes O’Loughlin Inc. based in Austin, where I provided legal services for U.S. corporations doing business in Mexico and advise foreign companies regarding the incorporation of business organizations in Latin America and foreign investment provisions.

I currently serve as In-House Counsel at Haras Enterprises, a conglomerate of companies providing high-end services in the Houston area, including a hotel, spa and hacienda specialized in the breeding of Lusitano horses. Also, I am the head of legal of several projects, including Hispano Card and Hispano Club, supervising compliance and privacy policies, contracts, employment regulations, and the companies' day-by-day operations.
