I've been practicing upstream oil and gas law for nearly 50 years, starting with large firms, and eventually opening my own office as a solo practictioner. My extensive experience in the upstream industry, along with a large library of research and form templates allows me to respond quickly to any client inquiries. Additionally, since I have taught Oil and Gas Contracts for nearly 20 years, I am able to explain the implications of any documents furnished to clients. I have represented mineral and royalty owners, lessors, lessees, operators, and service companies over the years.

Because of my experience in oil and gas matters, I have also advised clients in alternative energy projects, including wind, solar, and geophysical matters, and I also have some experience in mining.

I have provided assistance in litigation, probate, financial, and have advised the State of Texas in mining leases and underground condemnation for scientific projects.
