Joseph Wayne DiCecco

BIOGRAPHY:  

Joseph DiCecco is the Managing Partner of the Houston office of Gordon & Rees. In addition, Mr. DiCecco is chair of the firm's 260+ Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He is also an active member in the Business Transactions, Insurance, Health Care, and Hospitality Practice Groups.

For the past 30 years, Mr. DiCecco has served the business, transactional and litigation needs of a multitude of business, industrial, manufacturing, financial, service industries and healthcare based clients. In addition to his Commercial Transactional, Litigation and Healthcare experience, Mr. DiCecco has a large Insurance Defense practice, and is listed as panel counsel for a myriad of major North American insurers.

Mr. DiCecco has litigated 4,500 matters and has negotiated and consummated a broad range of commercial litigation, transactional, contracting and corporate matters for a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, service industries, the oil patch, and healthcare. He has served as lead counsel on numerous buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions transactions in those industries and serves as outside corporate counsel for public and private closely-held corporations, assisting them on a daily basis. 

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:  

Mr. DiCecco is actively involved in a wide range of community affairs in his church, the mission field and non-profit organizations. He serves regularly on civic and professional boards and committees on behalf of his community. Mr. DiCecco has been a resident of Houston since 1966, and he and his wife are the proud parents of three boys and a daughter.
