About Brent
Biography
Brent S. Phelps grew up in Katy, Texas. Mr. Phelps received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University. After graduating, Mr. Phelps attended law school at South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During his law school career, he volunteered in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, was named to the Dean’s List, and studied abroad in Malta, an island country in the Mediterranean Sea.
Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Phelps gained valuable legal experience interning at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in the Gangs and Organized Crime Division.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending his time playing lacrosse, listening to music, camping, and backpacking. One of his favorite places to go backpacking is Big Bend National Park out in West Texas.
