i hired her to represent me in a misdemeanor assault with bodily injury case just recently. first of all, she only accepted cash which was a little problematic since i wasn't working at the time, but i pulled it off eventually. i rarely spoke with her after i paid in full, which was a few weeks after... our initial consultation, always with her secretary, through text messaging. i would wait hours for her to show up to each scheduled court date. they were always rescheduled and on one incident, she didn't even have the common courtesy to tell me she was going to be a "no show". i was so confused and anxious. after the case got rescheduled 6 times, she eventually struck up a deal with the prosecutor in which i had to complete two online courses successfully, since the court could not get in contact with the complainant and her witnesses. she didn't know anything about the specifics of the case, nor did she know anything about me, personally. the main reason why i chose her was because her fee was significantly lower than some of the other lawyers that had reached out to me via text message. i would not recommend her to anyone with a criminal case. although, she is pretty nice when it comes to conversation, but as far as performance in the courtroom, she is below par.
