Kevin Knox Nunnally

Knox Nunnally is a Houston trial lawyer who began his legal career at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney, where he handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases.  Through his years of work as a prosecutor, Knox honed his advocacy skills and developed valuable relationships with prosecutors and judges.   Knox commitment to professional excellence and his consistent success in the courtroom earned him a reputation as an effective trial lawyer among colleagues and the judiciary.

After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Knox joined one of Texas' top law firms, Bracewell & Guiliani, LLP where he used his extensive trial experience to achieve excellent results for clients in civil matters. As a civil litigator, Knox handled commercial matters including contractual disputes, fraud, and personal injury defense.  Knox again demonstrated his effectiveness in the courtroom and earned an excellent reputation among his colleagues in civil law.

Prior to commencing his legal career, Knox served as an infantry officer and light armored reconnaissance officer for the U.S. Marine Corps, before his honorable discharge as a captain. He completed three combat deployments to Iraq and was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat V, a Purple Heart, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals with Combat Vs.

Personal Background

Knox is a native Houstonian, having left only for his education and to serve in the Marines between high school and law school.  Knox lives in Houston with his wife and son. Outside of the practice of law, Knox enjoys running cattle on his ranch in Austin County, bird hunting with his trusty setter, Sherman, and spending time with his family.
