****ZERO STARS****

ZERO STARS! EVEN THOUGH MR. MOLINA PREVIOUSLY HAD LOW RATINGS ON YELP AND GOOGLE, I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE HIM A CHANCE. MR. MOLINA IS EAGER TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT FULFILL HIS DUTIES. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO REACH. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT (GRIEVANCE) WITH THE STATE BAR. ZERO STARS!

Not good.

He did a first job for us, getting my mother's politcal asylum case going, she got her appointment, everything was good. We thought he was, honorable, attentive and a good person. Since we thought he had done a good Job for us the first time, we wanted to keep using him for the rest of our case.... After the 160 days that my mother had to wait to get her work permit, we decided to give this job to him and he was supposed to request my mother's first time work permit and my renovation of the work permit. This was in November of 2019, we paid $300.00 per case, for a total of $600.00 plus the USCIS Fee of $580.00 that i was required to give for being the second time requesting the Work Permit. I gave him a Money Order for the Fee, since USCIS asks to get Money Orders or Cashiers Checks, this money order was never cashed by USCIS but it was cashed by HIM, Jose Molina. A check that must be cashed by the government. On top of this, he did not introduce our case therefore we never got our Work Permits, nor our receipts. Making the excuse that Coronavirus slowed everything down, but this is something that had to be introduced in NOVEMBER 2019, for a couple of months we thought he was telling the truth, but at some point we decided to check with another lawyer (we obviously had our concerns), and this other lawyer said that even with Coronavirus, we should have gotten at least a receipt from USCIS, but that never arrived, and also said that since this case was supposed to be introduced by December the latest, today 10 MONTHS after we should have gotten our Work Permits already, I got fired from job since obviously I did not have the receipt nor a work permit. Since it was him who cashed the check it is obvious that he did not introduced our case, therefore, we never got a receipt or the actual work permits. It has been 10 months since then, now we need to get another lawyer, on top of that since things have changed, the USCIS fee increased and on top of that, my mother will have to pay for this fee also even tho it is her first time, because USCIS is now asking for first timers to pay this fee also. In between dozens of unanswered phone calls, emails and text messages, the irresponsibility of this man to put our immigration status in play says a lot about him. He doesn't have a secretary either that can at least say something and he charges $300.00 an hour and doesn't even give you that whole hour of attention. We have requested him to hand over our file, and he hasn’t get back to us. This review may change if he proves us wrong.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I endorse this lawyer. I have done several mediations with him in my office. He comes thoroughly prepared and is a strong advocate for his clients. He truly tries to save his clients money (as well as time & frustration) by resolving his cases. When he cannot settle a case, he is not intimidated to go forward with a trial. He is a pleasure to work with and is always professional. He might have a calm demeanor but he's not afraid of a court fight. I don't settle all his cases, but I know that he and his client will attend mediation thoroughly prepared."
