Kathryn Young Williams

Kathryn Y. Williams is a founding partner at the law firm of Daniel, Williams & Associates, PLLC where she specializes in the trial and practice of civil litigation with an emphasis in personal injury and labor and employment law.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Texas Lutheran University in 2003.  After graduating from the TLU, Kathryn worked in the banking industry for over a year before deciding to pursue her law degree.  As a result of her academic excellence, Kathryn was awarded a full scholarship to Southern University Law Center where she earned a Juris Doctor degree in 2007 and graduated with honors.

During the years that she lived in Louisiana, Kathryn became passionate about learning about issues regarding socio-economic concerns, systemic racism, sexism, and discrimination that affect everyday people.  From her own education and experiences, she developed a serious sense of purpose to serve those who have been hurt and deprived of their most basic rights. It was during this time in her life, Kathryn realized the importance of making someone else’s life better, which would make a positive difference and lasting impact on their life.  This obligation pushed her professionally to find the drive and motivation to help the injured people that she now represents.
