Ricka Nicolette Martin-Tijerina

Ricka Nicolette Martin-Tijerina grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, where her love for the law began. As a third-generation attorney, Ricka knew from a young age that she wanted to help people just as she had seen her grandfather and uncle do in court.

In 2017, Ricka graduated cum laude from Hunter College with a double major degree in Political Science and Media Analysis. During her undergraduate years, she was a member of the Hunter College Mock Trial team. Soon after that, she began pursuing her law degree at the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Ricka gained firsthand courtroom experience through internships with the Southern District of Texas Federal Court and working throughout her last year at a criminal law firm.

Now an attorney, Ricka works every day to find the most effective and efficient ways to solve legal problems. She understands that to best help her clients, she must be there for them every step of the way.
