About Tyne
Biography
Tyne' (pronounced Tuh-nay) is a native of Oakland, California. At the age of 8, after discussing the injustices of the legal system with her mother, Tyne' knew that she would best help her community through providing affordable legal services. Attorney Mattox comes from a military family. Her father, an Army veteran, taught her that discipline is the forefront of all success.
Throughout high school, Tyne' dreamed of attending college in New York or Florida. Shortly after graduation, her legal journey began in sunny Miami, Florida.
Tyne' attended Florida Memorial University (FMUNIV), home of the fighting Lions. The only historically black university (HBCU) in Miami. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Pre-Law.
Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Tyne' attended Southern University Law Center (SULC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After graduation, Tyne' and her partner, James, decided that Houston, Texas would greatly benefit from their professionalism and determination, through legal services.
