Tyler Geoffrey Doyle

Tyler G. "Ty" Doyle has a general civil litigation and appellate practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants.  In recent years, his practice has focused on commercial litigation, securities, intellectual property, and trade secret disputes in the oil and gas, financial services, and healthcare industries.  Ty also provides defense work in medical malpractice actions, and has practiced before the "Vaccine Court" in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Ty received his A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 2002, where he graduated in three years.  He received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2005, where he was an Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review and served on the Executive Board of the Stanford Journal of International Law.  He also graduated with Pro Bono Distinction, based on the number of hours of free legal services he provided while attending law school full-time.  An active alum, he serves as co-chair of Stanford Law School's Houston Alumni Chapter, and was a member of Stanford Law's Board of Visitors from 2012-15.

Upon graduation from law school, Ty served as law clerk to the Honorable Edith H. Jones, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  An avid writer, he has had law-related articles published in Slate, , and The Huffington Post, and has been quoted on legal issues in a variety of publications.  He has been named a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past four years.

Ty is licensed in Texas, New York, California, and the District of Columbia, as well as myriad federal courts.
