Some other lawyers i talked too wanted to charge the families by the minute to talk to the lawyer, other lawyers had an assistant do all the work for them, but Mr. Topek does all his clients paperwork and goes and visits the inmates himself, another reason to hire him!

I found Seth Topek on the computer. My grandson was incarcerated at Woodville, TX. at the time. He was coming up for review so we needed a criminal defense lawyer. I first contacted Seth and his father when my son was sentenced to 10 years in prison which he began to serve in San Antonio in the fall of 2014. I was impressed with this father and son law team due to their excellent reviews on the internet. Their fee was a flat $5000 which may be higher than the a...verage, but I believe that one usually gets what one pays for. And this proved to be true from the very beginning. There were never any para-legals or junior clerical staff involved. There was never a boiler-plate form letter suggested or written. Every detail of the case was handled personally by the principals of the law office. At least twice, Seth made the journey to San Antonio (which must have been 10 hours each time) to visit my son in prison and give him guidance. His father traveled several counties away to obtain police reports. When it came time for the 1st parole hearing, Seth was well prepared, articulate, and convincing before the parole board. The parole board granted parole after my son had served 6 months of a 10 year sentence. I think that this law team probably spent more than 100 hours on the case.
