When I first met Rick he sat me down and asked me lots of questions that lead to my trial and got my case's dismissed. It wasn't easy going through the process but he kept me calm and positive at all times. I had an excellent experience with him. The jury and judge was clearly responsive when he spok...e and we got the verdict we were looking for when we got to the end of our trial. The entire court's speaks to him very socially, he is well known and respected. He's been on the other side as DA which is great because he knows exactly how they operated. I strongly recommend Rick and have referred him over dozen of friends and family members. It's a huge relief to know someone actually cares and can count on when you're in the most difficult situation.

I'm happy to say I've dealt with lawyer Richard DeToto. I'm very grateful with him, he's been representing me since 2014-2015 in a federal case thanks to a very oblivious mistake I did. I was looking to face four years in jail, but he turned those four years into six months. He treated me as if I was... family not just a client. I can not express enough the disappointment I have with this attorney. Rick starts off letting you know how strongly he is going to represent you in your criminal case and how, as a former Harris County District Attorney, (Misdemeanor Division) he has the aptitude, experience and contacts in the DA's... office to fully represent you. This is what you hear until you hand over your money. The sad truth, from my own personal experience, is that he is extremely lazy and did very little while representing me. I would not recommend Rick to anyone, ever.
