Biography
Mr. Ungureanu devotes his practice to civil litigation and appeals. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Houston Law Center, where he teaches Complex Litigation, and writes the firm's Fifth Circuit Blog.
He received his B.A. from Rice University in 2006 and his J.D. summa cum laude, from the University of Utah College of Law in May 2010, where he was Associate Editor of the Utah Law Review. After law school, he was honored to be selected for two consecutive federal clerkships.
Mr. Ungureanu serves on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Summer Science Program, an astrophysics summer program in which gifted students from around the world track near-earth asteroids and compute their orbits.
He has published an article on Russian literature and colonialism, and has played in the World Chess Open.
Mr. Ungureanu is fluent in Romanian.
