Motion for Modification of Child Support and Petition for Enforcement Cases

To Whom It May Concern: Regarding an ongoing child support issue which began with my ex-wife's irresponsible treachery in the Summer of 2012 then later followed up with her divorce filing in January of 2014, I located Ms. Stagg through the Houston Lawyer Referral Service and decided to retain her ...after interviewing several other attorneys about issues surrounding the history of my extremely egregious multi-state case. She also had one of the few rational and reasonable retainer fees among the various attorneys I interviewed. I found Ms. Stagg and her assistant, Jana, to be very professional and genuinely interested in helping to correct/mitigate the ongoing injustices in my case involving child support accruing at a totally absurd rate over the prior six years for multiple children whom I had not been able to see (nor even hear on the phone or Skype), ...much less visit, since approximately Sept of 2014. I had made three prior pro se attempts to get the child support amount corrected after involuntarily losing my job in Sept of 2016, then having to care for my elderly father who began suffering from dementia and senior exploitation by criminals. After my third unsuccessful pro se attempt to get the child support amount reduced, I made the very difficult but ultimately necessary decision to go thousands of dollars into credit card debt in order to get the ongoing injustice mitigated in the best interest of the children and best interest of my future parent-child relationships. Unfortunately, Ms. Stagg was unable to get the extremely unjust, immoral, and unwarranted supervised visitation imposition lifted on my behalf at this time, but she was successful arguing for a substantial and entirely justified reduction in the accruing monthly child support which I had been unable to pay since October 2016. The amount just kept accruing for years far beyond my ability to pay and despite my three prior pro se attempts to get the issue corrected without also going into credit card debt to get it done. Thankfully, Ms. Stagg was able to successfully advocate on my behalf to a new judge who was far more rational, reasonable, and fair-minded than the initial judge in my case. Ms. Stagg helped me to finally achieve approximately 75% of my goals with respect to correcting the ongoing massive injustices in my case. For the sake of my children, I plan to challenge the unjustly imposed and entirely immoral supervised visitation scam in the future as time and money permit, something which has been in place since the initial divorce, imposed by a prior judge who is thankfully no longer on the bench. Ms. Stagg took in an immense amount of verbal and written information from me over several months prior to the trial and she was able to digest, summarize, and convey my situation to the judge in a professional and thorough manner. I would not hesitate to hire Ms. Stagg again for any future child support or family related matter. Sincerely, CM

Great and professional

Organized and professional are the two words i would use to describe nicole. I hired her for a name change case. I would’ve thought it was a very long frustrating process but Nicole made it very easy for me. She explained to me what all I had to do in detail and made the process very easy. She didnt ...over charge like how other attorneys i went to wanted to. Excellent work would recommend.
