Rep for Texas school boards/districts re: employment, contract non-extensions/term; free speech, whistleblower, religion, discrimination, due process; criminal, real estate, student discipline, governance/procedure; con struction,contract/warranty disputes, standard of care-architects, construction mgrs, engineers; contractors/sureties; take-over construction contracts, remediation; mold/asbestos, improperly performing roofs, defective foundations,defective construction materials.

Experience includes advising individuals who wish to appeal a denial of their disability claims before the United States Social Security Administration. Due to life circumstances rendering them disabled, these individuals were unable to remain employed and required payment of social security benefits for payment of necessities.

Experience in this area of practice includes determination of rights under the Equal Rights Amendment to the Texas Constitution; deliberate indifference under the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution; and a declaration of rights of school districts in connection with a graduation ceremony. Paul has also advised school districts, individuals and other attorneys pertaining to bodily integrity and the use of service animals at school.

Experience includes the representation of countless Texas public, private, and charter schools in a variety of practice areas, including constitutional law, business transactions, labor and employment issues, administrative law, and education law. Representation has included all aspects of school law, including issues arises from Section 504, IDEA, FERPA, and NCLB.
