Myron (Pappy) Papadakis is a 2013 Lederer Aviation Safety Award Winner.

The Jerome F. Lederer Award is presented by the International Society of
Air Safety Investigators (ISASI), and is awarded for outstanding lifetime contributions to technical excellence in furthering aviation accident investigation and achieving Society objectives. Those objectives include enhancing aviation safety through the continuing development and improvement of investigation techniques. It is the only recurring award made by the Society.
Pappy has practiced Aviation Law for 36 years. He has been a qualified aviator for40 years, an Airline Pilot for Delta for 31 years. He has evaluated ,investigated or litigated over 450 aviation accidents. He was one of the first ISASI Fellows.
I work as a consulting attorney helping law firms understand the technical intracacies of why air vehicles crash. I have restricted my practice to this aeronautical endeavor.
I have teamed with over 120 Lawyers in over 70 different Law firms. The intense focus on aviation disasters ( over 400 aircraft accident evaluations, investigations and litigations), combined with military and airline flying allows me to help find pathways to succesful conclusion whether by alternate resolution or through Verdict.
