I'd like to start by saying that when I think of going up against the State of Texas in a courtroom setting, it can be very intimidating. Luckily, I found someone that has a very detailed memory and listens well. Mike's excellent knowledge of the law left me feeling very reassured that my case was be...ing handled by a pro. Michael Abner is a very nice guy, great personality, very confident, supportive& very reassuring. Court appointed on 2014. He did get me what I asked for (probation) but before that seemed to be working for the prosecutor as he was encouraging me to accept a 5 year prison plea. Doesn't out effort into his work although he may if you are paying him. My sister in law was dumb enough to hire him f...or a civil matter and not only did he fail her miserably but he gossiped about my case with her telling her details without my permission. He is a former prosecutor but had to resign because of a DWI. Avoid
