Great Service and Fair Charges

Our small company needed several trademark applications to be filed. The firm filed them immediately and we secured the registration without problems. Their charges were consistent with the estimates that they provided.

DISHONEST, UNETHICAL, DECEPTIVE, HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL LAWYER

JOHN EGBERT IS THE WORST LAWYER EVER. HE IS UNETHICAL, DECEPTIVE, DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL. JOHN EGBERT, due to his advanced age (he is in his 60s) is never in the office, and when i retained his law firm to protect my trademarks, i had to work with his INCOMPETENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY, MICHAEL SWARTZ..., who is also highly UNETHICAL, DECEPTIVE, AND Tried to OVERPRICE their services to me. I AM NOT SUING THEM (have in fact filed legal civil action against John S. Egbert and his law firm). BE WARNED! DO NOT USE THIS Law office for trademark or ANY patent work or any kind of legal services. JOHN EGBERT is DISHONEST, DECEPTIVE, WORST NEGOTIATOR I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED, & UNETHICAL, shyster lawyer who is MANIPULATIVE and MISLEADING. HE is never in the office as he is in his 60s (and frankly looks like he is going to drop dead due to his age) and when he is, he barely does any work (i had to push him to get any work done). When I retained him and his firm back in July of 2016 to protect my two trademark applications for my LLC (which were already filed at the USPTO), he and his incompetent & deceptive associate attorney, MICHAEL SWARTZ, made a mess of my trademarks and tried to OVERPRICE their services AND EXTORT MORE MONEY OUT OF ME! BE WARNED! I AM FILED A CIVIL LAWSUIT AGAINST JOHN EGBERT AND HIS LAW FIRM FOR THIS REASON! STAY AWAY FROM THESE DECEPTIVE AND HIGHLY UNETHICAL LAWYERS; if i can give them a no-star, i certainly would. please FIND AN IVY-LEAGUE EDUCATED, HONEST, & TRUSTWORTHY LAWYER(S) ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR PATENT AND TRADEMARKS NEEDS!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
