Biography
Jeffrey A. Potts has successfully tried cases for plaintiffs and defendants in the federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Because better trial skills are learned from handling a variety of types of cases, Mr. Potts intentionally has developed a diverse trial practice, including commercial litigation, intellectual property, personal injury, ERISA litigation, and the representation of individuals subject to government investigations.

He graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts with honors, phi beta kappa and with a Juris Doctor cum laude. He was an articles editor for the Northwestern University Law Review and selected for inclusion in the Order of the Coif. After law school, Potts clerked for the Honorable Lee H. Rosenthal in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
