I was originally told this was considered a “VIP” case because of a personal referral, so naturally my expectations were higher. Toward the end of the case, I was told checks would be processed quickly once paperwork and information were submitted, but more delays followed after signing the release. I understand every case is different and fees are part of the process, but overall I walked away feeling frustrated, confused, and unsupported during a difficult situation.
