"I recently worked with Emma on an important guardianship for three incapacitated triplets who had aged into adulthood. Emma took these cases under Locke Lord, LLP's pro bono program. As a solo attorney who practices in guardianship regularly, it is not often that I serve as a court-appointed attorney ad litem on pro bono cases sponsored by big law firms. Sometimes these appointments require a bit more work to assist the big-firm lawyers with the probate courts' inner workings, guardianship, or both. Not in this case. Emma exuded diligence and professionalism for her client, the proposed guardian, and there was little, if anything, that I needed to do in duties as the ad litem for the wards in her cases.
