The receptionist on the phone is extremely rude and she told me that the lawyer is no longer interested in Social Security Matters. This is how it went. I called, a lady picked up and asked me in a rude manner "what do you want?". I politely informed her that I was referred to David Dopkin and th...at is he the best in what I am looking to do. She asked "what do you want to do??" I said "I am looking for Social Security..." before I could finish she said "He is not interested" *Hung Up*. The worst experience I have had with any lawyer. No need to call this person, he needs to train his staff first. Then he needs to figure out what his law office actually does.

Dopkin is a very good lawyer. He helped me and won my Social Security Disability case at reconsideration level -- After being denied by SSA for my initial claim, I searched online and ran into Dopkin's website. I then called him and hired him as my attorney. He communicated with me and my husband v...ery well, spent a lot time talking to us, reviewing my case and made an effective plan to ask SSA to reconsider my claim. He is very smart, knowledgeable, responsive and dedicated. His plan worked well and around 2 months later, he won my case. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs SSD help.

Dopkin was suppose to be helping me with a Social Security Disability claim. He never kept me informed regarding the progress of the case. The only time he called me (he ignored my calls and e-mails) was to inform me i had won my case. A few days later, i received a letter from SSA stating i had been... denied. After lying to me, in true Attorney fashion, he didn't return my phone call. I had to file the next step in my appeal process myself.
