Crystal R. Axelrod is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Axelrod represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including mass tort, patent infringement, oil and gas, energy, and securities litigation. She also focuses on bankruptcy litigation, financial services regulatory actions, and matters involving corporate ethics and compliance.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Axelrod served as a law clerk to the Honorable Craig A. Gargotta of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas. She also served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Jay A. García-Gregory of the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Ms. Axelrod received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law with honors in 2011. While in law school, she served as the projects editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine and as a member of the Securities Law Moot Court team. Ms. Axelrod also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Miami, and in the legal department of a Fortune 100 insurance company.
Prior to law school, Ms. Axelrod worked as a licensed banking and investment specialist for a global financial institution. Ms. Axelrod received her B.A., magna cum laude, in sociology, with a dual minor in business administration and Spanish, from Drexel University in 2006.
Ms. Axelrod is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
