Brandon Jonathan Roy

I hired Mr. Brandon Roy (and his partner Alex Houthuijzen) as part of the Royal Trial Attorney team. They were referenced to me by a legal organization. I didn't really get to speak with Mr. Brandon Roy that much when he had my case. He rarely communicated with me. I only heard from him twice.... The first time was when he presented me with his so-called big evidence for the grand jury packet. That consisted of only two hearsay sentences from a non-witness. And the second time was via a text. The text was of him harassing me to pay more than the agreed amount and to pay earlier than the agreed date. I felt harassed because he was asking for things we had not agreed to in the contract. Even though he didn't do a good job his partner either, Alex Houthuijzen was the only one I saw doing any work. They had wasted precious time. When their grand jury packet failed to get my case dismissed....I decided it was time to look for a new attorney. If I had stayed with Brandon Roy and his partner, my life would be very different today. They would have certainly lost my case. Firing Brandon Roy and the Royal Trial Attorney team was one of the smartest decisions I've ever made for my life. I ended up replacing him with a one of the top 10 criminal defense lawyers in Houston. And they told me that not only did he do a number of things wrong, but that he had only been practicing law for a couple years prior.
