Kyle B. Collins

Kyle Collins charged us a lot of money to get my father out of jail (back in 2005). Afterwards, he said he would take care of everything and sent us directions on what needed to be done to get the charges dropped. On court date, he called and said that my dad did not need to go , and everything wa...s already taken care of. Fast forward 9 years later, and my dad was detained at Texas border while crossing due to an arrest warrant due to not showing up to court. I had to drive 5 hrs to get him out of jail in a different county, and he spent an entire day for something that he thought was properly taken care of by Kyle ( He charged 5,000 USD). We now have to find another lawyer to take care of what Kyle didn't do. We recently called him bout this, he was very rude and asked for another 1,000 upfront before he could 'clear things up once and for all'. After telling him we would not pay him another dime, he got really nasty. Avoid doing business with this clown at all costs. You have been properly warned

" BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS MAN FOR A LAWYER" Kyle Collins has taken my money. I paid him to get my son out of jail on Sept 20, 2013 my son got out of jail with out Kyle's help. My son is on probation and I told Kyle this. Everyone knows how it works when you are on probation. My son has to see probatio...n officer on Oct. 28. His warrant was issued Oct. 4. I have been calling this man and all he has done is give me the run around. Called another lawyer and I was given more information with just a few mins of the call. Kyle also wanted to charge me $1200.00 for this case he has not worked on. New lawyer was recommend by my lawyer (not in town) and he is charging $750.00 and is already working on the case. I ask Kyle what was my money for that I basically gave him and he say for representation for my son. I had to check and see if my son had a warrant. I had to keep calling this man and listening to his BS. New lawyer ask for probation officer name and what court is he in. Klye hasn't and didn't even ask those questions.

Three days of " I'm in the court now".... I paid him to get my son out of jail on a driving while license suspended.(misdemeanor) 3 days of why do you keep bothering me I'm in the court now with the judge! This man is the most unprofessional lawyer I have worked with in my life. You give him your mon...ey you can't get in touch with him. (he will block your #). I Juarez wanted to know what was going on with my child and I get a response " if you call me one more time you can come and get your money back!" after 3 days. That's just what I did. Charles popper came and got him out same day!!! Unless you want to stress about when your loved one is getting out DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!!! wish I would have googled him first. Lesson learned! The bad reviews on here is all accurate.

Attorney has very difficult job to defend a person that he doesn't know. Just think about could you do that my answer is no. No one is perfect and we all have our shortcomings. I was reading some of the reviews stating Mr.Collins was hard to contact, yes at time it was hard to contact him but he did ...return my calls after several attempts. Mr.Collins is a great attorney and the State of Texas is bless to have him to defend those who can't defend them self. I had little funds for Mr. Collins to defend me, he even loan me money to get the basic something to eat. For those you judge Mr. Collins why don't you put on his shoes and see if you can do it any better. I would recommend Mr. Collins as attorney and you will happy to have my to defend you what ever the case maybe.
