This case arose from a tenant of commercial real estate who entered into a sales contract with the owner but wanted additional repairs done before closing. A dispute arose as to whether or not that was ... required under either their lease or the sales contract. The parties went to mediation and chose me as the mediator. After slightly more than eight hours of mediation the parties agreed to settle the case.

This case arose from a co-signor to a deposit account for an LLC. When the LLC was the victim of an out-of-state scam by an alleged "vendor" amounts of money were deposited and then withdrawn from the ... bank account. This caused serious overage fees resulting in over $200,000 of charges. The bank brought suit against the individual deposit account signatories for the damages. Our client was successful in compelling the dispute to arbitration pursuant to the deposit account agreement.

This case was a civil forfeiture case arising out of a search warrant which was executed to seize "8 liners" or video game slot machines. The police also took money straight out of the client's safe an ... d then the State moved for Civil Forfeiture of the money and the video games. After mounting the innocent owner defense, the State agreed to keep the machines and $2000 cash, and give my client back the rest of the money. No criminal charges were ever filed and my client gained back possession of the property the police took from him.

This case was a civil forfeiture arising out of the seizure of several "8 liner" machines from a client's convenience store. The police also took money out of the client's cash register and then sought ... forfeiture of the money. A settlement agreement was reached and 90% of the money was returned to the client.

In a case involving two equal owners of multiple LLCs with various property owned and various investments I represented a client in seeking his compensation out of the business when it became apparent ... that his partner was embezzling funds from the companies.
