Carpet Bagger Law Firm

Hired Chet to represent me in in a family law matter. My case changed once I received the pleadings. After getting the pleadings, Chet agreed to represent me at an additional cost. I PAID, The week before the hearing I was ghosted him and his firm. My call was accidently picked up, but I was quickly ...hung up on. The night before the hearing he filed a motion (without my knowledge) causing a delay in the outcome. Chet was utterly un-prepared for the hearing. (Something a 30 minute call would have prevented). When it came time to finish his work, he withdrew. If you are looking for a (-D) Attorney Hire Chet.

I am sorry you feel this way. You hired Marble Law and they contracted to us. We reviewed your materials and presented the relevant evidence at a contested trial. They wanted you to be restricted from visiting your children. After due consideration (it did take a while) the judge declined their request. WE WON! As for not communicating with you, we were in fairly constant communications up until the trial date and even after. I believe your disappointment stems from not being able to retain us for all of your needs. You contacted Marble Law and changed the contract prior to the trial. We did not charge extra for additional services, the contract was for a single service. We represented you and were successful. A one star review for successfully winning your case seems inappropriate, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
