Kurt William Glass

Became my court appointed lawyer back in 2022. He refused to be proactive on my behalf once the spark was light to battle my child support case. He is too busy kissing the court's butt than looking out for his clients. I called him for the last time and told him that he was fired.... do you know he c...alled me back immediately, cursing me out, power tripping, the whole nine! I could never get ahold of him on the phone until it was at his convenience.... once. 2 years later, 2024 I go back to court and once he hears my ex wife's accusations, (no evidence to prove her claim, which was cleared in a different court) he commences to call me a criminal and did not want to hear anything that I had to say to him. There needs to be a watchdog organization on lawyers... I'm sure he would be at the top of the list. I will never have someone work for me that against me from jump. I respect all professionals on every level, but this guy, he does not deserve any stars.

Luego de haber pagado 2,500 por solo UNA vista, ya que mi ofensa era una muy menor. Apenas atendió mis llamadas, en la única visita que tuve con el abogado muy claramente me dijo que iba a defender mi caso para que no quedara nada que me afectara una vez se cerrara. El día de la vista con el juez, es...pere en una sala mas no tuve la oportunidad de entrar a juicio. El abogado Kurt Glass salió de la nada y solo me indicó que debía pagar una pequeña multa y que mi expediente criminal no se vería afectado. Pura MENTIRA, luego de haber solicitado en 2 trabajos, en ambos estoy en investigación por no haber marcado que tenia expediente criminal. Un abogado con MALA REPRESENTACION, no lo recomendaría para nada (y eso que mi caso fue uno muy menor).

Caution! Just like the other reviews Mr. Glass simply could not be bothered to do his job although we paid him a significant amount to represent a custody case. I would always have to go through his secretary for answers or concerns since he would not be able to be reached. But I would be reminded ab...out payment through calls or texts. The first 2 times when we went to court he didn’t show and I was later told by my ex that he would talk about my family and I to the apposing attorney. He would be rude and sound frustrated when we addressed our issues to him about the case. Several times he outright swore and called my mother and I dramatic. He never truly cared about the case and just saw our desperation to get my child back as a easy payout. When we had finally had enough of his rudeness and his empty actions we fired him; this just resulted in him accusing and pressing charges of assault. Which has added further burden to my financial situation. I would NOT recommend him even to my worst enemy. ¡Precaución! Al igual que las otras revisiones, el Sr. Glass simplemente no podía molestarse en hacer su trabajo, aunque le pagamos una cantidad significativa para representar un caso de custodia. Siempre tendría que consultar con su secretaria para obtener respuestas o inquietudes, ya que no podría ser contactado. Pero me recordarían sobre el pago a través de llamadas o mensajes de texto. Las primeras 2 veces que fuimos al tribunal no se presentó y mi ex me dijo más tarde que hablaría sobre mi familia y yo con el abogado de el. Sería grosero y parecería frustrado cuando le dirigiéramos nuestros problemas sobre el caso. Varias veces maldijo y los llamó a mi madre y a mí dramáticas. Nunca se preocupó realmente por el caso y solo vio nuestra desesperación por recuperar a mi hijo como un pago fácil. Cuando finalmente tuvimos suficiente de su grosería y sus acciones vacías, lo despedimos; esto solo lo llevó a acusar y presentar cargos de asalto. Lo que ha agregado más carga a mi situación financiera. NO lo recomendaría incluso a mi peor enemigos.

We paid $5000 for a custody battle which was an easy case. After 4 cancellations and numerous date changes, we finally made it to court 2 years later. First, let me say this, he never returns phone calls, never gives updates on what is left in your account and just doesn't do his best to help you. ... So, we make it to court, he goes behind where the judge will come out with the other lawyer. They call the Ex husband to the stand, the judge asks him several questions, tells him how bad of a father he is, then says she doesn't want to hear anymore and that she isn't changing anything. She never called my wife to the stand, or spoke with anyone else under oath. For us to be having this battle for 2 years, then not to get heard is a failure in our due process. The courts failure and our lawyers failure. All we asked for was that visitation be changed from 2 months to 1 month in the summer. Kurt did nothing for us. The Judge did nothing. If you need an attorney for custody, don't hire Kurt Glass. Spend the extra money and hire an attorney who actually works for his clients.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with an attorney and I work with lawyers on a daily basis. They promised us they would have our case started in a week and it was over a month a half and it was finally started. Only due to me having to call and email them constantly. Not only did they... take too long to do what they promised us but they nickled and dimed us for every email and phone call we made which were mainly due to them not doing their jobs so we had to call and email them to get them to move on it. I asked them to work on the bill with us since, for example, there is no way it took an hour to read four emails from me and they completely refused and sent me a letter in the mail terminating our contract. I tried contacting them again after I received the letter with no response. We spent 1500.00 and recieved nothing out of it. Beware of attornies with a lack of reviews. We are paying for it, metaphorically and literally.
