Justin Bradford Smith

Justin is a dedicated appellate attorney from San Antonio. He did his undergraduate work at The University of Texas at Austin and received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law. Before relocating to Central Texas where his wife grew up, he practiced in Texarkana in both Texas and Arkansas and focused on litigation and appeals.

As an appellate attorney, Justin has obtained several reversals for clients, and is experienced in appellate oral argument. His appellate practice has included the Third, Sixth, Seventh, Tenth, Eleventh, and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals, as well as the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Arkansas Court of Appeals. He is committed to providing the best appellate representation possible.

Justin is a member of the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas, a graduate of Leadership State Bar of Texas, a graduate of Leadership Academy State Bar of Arkansas, the current President-Elect of the Bell County Young Lawyers Association, and a member of the Bar Leaders for Justice Committee of the Texas Access to Justice Foundation. He is a past President of the Texarkana Young Lawyer Association, a past member of the Texas Pattern Jury Charges-Criminal Committee, and has been a guest lecturer, guest speaker and Teen Court judge. His work with the Texarkana Young Lawyers Association earned him statewide recognition with the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas. He has done pro bono work with Lone Star Legal Aid, and is a part of the Third Court of Appeals Appellate Pro Bono program.

Justin's wife also practices law, and they have a son and a daughter. They attend Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.
