Beth received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. During that time she also interned at the United States Department of Justice in Washington D.C. and later worked in the family crimes unit at the Harris County District Attorney’s office in Houston before opening a law practice in Stephenville.
Beth served as the elected Erath County Attorney in the early nineties where she enjoyed an active courtroom presence and prosecuted hundreds of criminal offenses. During her multiple terms in office, she maintained membership in The Texas District and County Attorney Association and attended numerous conferences focusing on criminal law. Additionally, she advocated for children, families and the elderly by providing emergency protective orders and represented the state in temporary and permanent custody hearings. Upon her marriage to Garry, Beth left elected office to join Lewellen Law. She continues her work at Lewellen Law using her experience in litigation, research and office management while maintaining a special compassion for every client that asks for help.
