David A. Lowrance

David joined the Law Offices of James H. Horton as an associate in the firm’s Denton office in August 2009. His practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, family litigation, probate and civil litigation. David graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in criminal justice, and served as a police officer for the city of Irving for three years. David graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Law School in 1986 in the top 10% of his class. David practiced civil litigation in Fort Worth for more than 20 years, including deceptive trade practices, commercial litigation, toxic tort, asbestos, medical malpractice defense, medical implant litigation, horticulture/chemical litigation, railroad litigation, aviation litigation, insurance coverage, and personal injury litigation. David is licensed to practice before all Texas courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal courts in the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts.
