Deborah Elizabeth Yefet Johnson

Deborah Elizabeth Johnson is an attorney from the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.  After spending 8 years in federal service at the Small Business Administration, she now practices law from the Law Office of Deborah E. Johnson.  Her practice includes a focus on music & entertainment law issues, dealing heavily in transactional law, contract review and negotiation, artist representation, and limited management roles.  Born a Texas girl, Ms. Johnson attended Texas Tech University, majoring in dance and psychology.  Years later, Ms. Johnson forewent her Bachelor in Dance & Performing Arts, for a degree in Psychology with the hopes of attending law school.  Completely inspired by attorneys in her path, she achieved that dream in 2005 when she graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now Texas A&M School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Johnson’s experience includes commercial litigation, construction law, compliance specialist, real estate contract & negotiations, as well as Attorney Ad Litem for children removed from their home by Child Protective Services.  Ms. Johnson additionally serves as In-House Counsel for her husband’s company, Nechemya Construction Solutions.  Her most recent achievement was being hired at Tarrant County College to teach an Entrepreneur course and Business Law section.

Ms. Johnson is a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She is active in her church, Gateway Church (located in Southlake, TX), and plans to attend a mission trip in the next year.  In her former church, Ms. Johnson served 3 years on the platform worship team, and taught the College & Career class.
