Kristen N. Whittaker obtained her J.D. from the Texas A&M University School of Law where she attended on full-tuition scholarship. While in law school, Kristen served as the Citations Editor for the Texas A&M Law Review.

As a practicing attorney, Kristen has assisted numerous clients in several areas of the law including estate planning and probate, real estate, and business law. Prior to private practice, Kristen gained valuable experience as a Legal Extern for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and as a Law Clerk with Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas Community Revitalization Project. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Dallas County Court at Law No. 1.

Before obtaining her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, Kristen earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Utah. As a former professional ballet dancer, she spent her summers as a youth training on scholarship in New York City and across the country with several of the world’s most prestigious ballet companies. Kristen credits her extensive background and professional experience in classical ballet with teaching her the value of hard work, setting goals, and developing discipline.

Kristen recognized her love for helping others and her desire to be involved in her community at a young age. She knew that pursuing a career in the legal profession would allow her to fulfill these passions to a greater extent.
