Anthony Simpson grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from California State University – San Marcos. Anthony moved across the country after undergraduate school and attended law school in Washington, D.C. He graduated with honors from the George Washington University School of Law.
After graduation, Anthony took a position as an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office in Maryland. After nearly two years prosecuting thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases — in particular hundreds of DWI cases — and conducting hundreds of trials, Anthony left the State’s Attorney’s Office to join the U. S. Coast Guard as a JAG officer. While in the Coast Guard, Anthony appeared in dozens of court-martial trials involving criminal matters ranging from unauthorized absence, theft, sexual assault, drug charges and rape. As a JAG officer, Anthony prosecuted the first homicide ever prosecuted by the Coast Guard.
After several years on active duty, Anthony left the Coast Guard and returned to the State’s Attorney’s Office as a juvenile prosecutor, then felony prosecutor. As a felony prosecutor, Anthony Simpson handled hundreds of cases involving drug distribution, assault, burglary, robbery and homicide.
In 2011, Anthony received his Texas law license and recently opened the Law Offices of Anthony Simpson, Esq. in Fort Worth. Anthony Simpson has spent his entire legal career as a criminal attorney and is ready to apply his considerable skills and experience to your case and to protecting your rights.

"I have sat as second chair trial attorney with Mr. Simpson. He cares for his clients and will put up the strongest fight he can to defend them. He keeps his clients well informed of what is going on and what their options are. He thoroughly prepares for his cases and does not wing it. Mr. Simpson is a fantastic lawyer and well regarded among lawyers, court staff, and judges. I endorse him as one of the best criminal defense lawyers in Texas."
