Biography
Christopher A. Baca was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After serving in the United States Navy, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Amberton University in Garland. He then proceeded to earn his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law.
Mr. Baca brings years of mortgage and financial institution compliance experience. He previously worked for such companies such as Goldman Sachs, Weaver and CrossCheck Compliance. In addition, he was General Counsel for the California division of BDF Law Group, a law firm affiliated with the Addison-based foreclosure trustee NDeX. Chris’ primary responsibility was the oversight of the company’s residential mortgage default servicing compliance, internal processes, and litigation.
Mr. Baca is a certified Texas Real Estate Commission instructor and frequent speaker on real estate and compliance matters to professional groups in real estate and lending communities. He is currently admitted to practice law in Texas, California and Indiana. He is a member of the Dallas, Flower Mound, Denton County, Tarrant County, and American Bar Associations, Fort Worth, Dallas, Texas, and National Mortgage Bankers Associations, Texas Land Title Association, and many other associations.
