Terri Hammond Moore

When I needed a criminal defense attorney to help me with a probation related matter from my federal criminal case, a friend (that works for the federal public defender's office) recommended several heavy-hitters, Ms. Moore being among them. I, ultimately, decided to retain her (over all others) bec...ause I was impressed with her professional demeanor, ability (and willingness) to explain the process to me in detail, and willingness to hear out my thoughts and provide feedback. She is knowledgeable, insightful, and refined. Hiring Ms. Moore was the best decision that I could have made. She spent countless hours mastering documents related to my criminal trial (which was in a different state and she had not been my attorney for that, though I wish I could have found someone like her back then), reviewing new materials, trying to convince the Probation Office and the US Attorney's office of our position, and when that didn't work, masterfully putting together my life story in a motion to the Court so that the judge can make the best informed decision possible. Of course no review of Ms. Moore would be complete, without a tip of the hat to her assistant, Jena, who is always courteous, kind, and responsive.
