Bob Loudermilk is a founding partner of Grover Loudermilk, PLLC. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Bob dedicates his probate and estate practice to serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Tarrant County. His extensive experience and his in-depth knowledge of Texas law and process benefit clients in many different situations and circumstances. His practice covers the full range of matters that can arise, including contested probate matters.
After graduating from law school, Bob had his own practice for several years. He then became a staff attorney for Tarrant County Probate Court No. 2, working for Judge Pat Ferchill (now retired). After three years at the Court, Bob returned to private practice. He joined one of Fort Worth’s top boutique estate planning and probate firms, where he worked for three years. He then joined a small, well-established, Fort Worth real estate and transactional firm, where he headed the firm’s estate planning and probate practice.
Through his service at the Probate Court, Bob met Mike Grover, who also focused his practice on probate and estate work. The two became close friends as well as professional colleagues. In August 2019, after several years of discussing setting up a practice together, the two accomplished attorneys established the firm of Grover Loudermilk to provide legal services relating to probate and estates for Tarrant County clients.
Estate planning, probate and estate administration, and guardianships form the core focus of Bob’s practice. His background in real estate enables him to handle probate and estate matters that require resolution of issues or completion of transactions relating to real property, which adds an important dimension to Bob’s practice. He also assists clients with a broad range of real estate transactions outside the probate and estate context.
The unique combination of private practice and court experience and Bob’s ability to handle real estate matters provide significant benefits to every client. The fact that many clients come to Bob through referrals from other attorneys (and former clients) attests to the recognition of these distinctive credentials in the legal profession and community.
In working with clients, Bob is a creative problem solver. He always strives to find the best path for the client. His clients especially appreciate his focus on both achieving the desired results and finding a cost-effective solution.
Bob puts clients at ease with his even-keel approach and style. He listens to the client’s concerns, answers every question, and explains all essential aspects relating to the matter at hand. With Bob’s guidance, the client then makes the final decision on how to proceed.
Bob, his wife Mary, and two young children live in Fort Worth. A rescue Yellow Lab (Pilot) and two cats with personality (Mazie and Frank) keep the family busy and entertained. When Bob isn’t at the office, he relishes spending time with his family, just enjoying life.
