Michael Alexander Galyen

Michael Galyen is the firm’s Executive Vice President and an attorney practicing out of Bailey & Galyen’s Fort Worth office. Michael specializes in personal injury litigation, representing those who have been hurt in Work Injuries, Truck Wrecks, Car Wrecks, and Premises Liability matters. Michael prides himself on client satisfaction and zealous representation.

Michael has secured multiple seven-figure recoveries on behalf of his clients, earning himself a place in the “Million Dollar Advocates Forum”®. Moreover, Michael was named to the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 under 40” which is extended solely to a select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards.

Michael is the son of firm founder Phillip Galyen. He grew up in Arlington and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration Management. Michael attended Texas A&M University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor Degree in May 2020. During his time at Texas A&M School of Law, Michael was involved in the Residency Externship Program in Public Policy, where he spent a semester working with the Texas Senate Committee on Business and Commerce. Michael was also the president of the Texas A&M School of Law Student Chapter of the Federalist Society and now serves on the board of the Fort Worth Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Katlyn and Alexander, and running marathons.
