The main reason I became an attorney was to help people in an advocacy role. I felt that being an attorney would give me the necessary background and degree to reach out to people who needed help.

In addition, my skills in reading, writing, and analysis, combined with the fact that I am an organized and analytical person, has strengthened my skill in analyzing problems and advising others. I particularly enjoy the “counselor” part of my title and enjoyed the study of law and learning about how an argument could be made on both sides of any case. The best attorney has prepared their argument and responses to any anticipated counterarguments. It is a career where I can constantly learn and grow as law is ever changing and you must be ready to learn on a lifelong basis.
