Hailey Delaine Schmitt

Hailey Schmitt is a family law attorney at Goranson Bain Ausley in Fort Worth.

Hailey represents clients in divorce and child custody matters across Johnson, Somervell, Tarrant, Parker, Ellis, and Hood counties, including Fort Worth, Cleburne, Granbury, Waxahachie, Glen Rose, Southlake, and Burleson.

Many of Hailey's clients are retirees divorcing after a long marriage with significant retirement assets, parents of very young children navigating custody arrangements for the first time, and individuals who want to resolve their divorce by agreement rather than through extended litigation.

Although Hailey encourages efficient and amicable resolutions whenever possible, she is also an experienced litigator who frequently appears in court and is known for protecting her clients' interests when a case cannot be settled.

Before joining Goranson Bain Ausley, Hailey practiced family law at McCarty-Larson and served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Phillip Hays in the 99th District. She earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2023, where she represented clients through the Texas Tech Family Clinic and served as Vice President of Judges on the Board of Barristers.

She is known for balancing strategic case management with genuine approachability—cutting through emotion without dismissing it and keeping cases focused, efficient, and outcome-driven.
