Paid him $7500.00 up front for a divorce case. Never got an invoice for 7 months, then what do you know, he billed for every last cent and then some after I started to complain, never sent copies of filings until I asked for them and that took three tries. 20-minute prep for hearing on the night be...fore the hearing, did not disclose documents sent from opposing counsel. This all happened in the Spring to Fall of 2023, which I have recently learned was also when he had gotten a DUI. After I fired him, he contacted opposing counsel and blackmailed me to the tune of another $12,000.00

I paid Christopher approximately 8,000.00 at the end of the day for a TRO hearing (up front & in full.) NEVER pay up front period. This guy literally charged me for a few hours of in office hearing prep (which never happened) then sent me a text message stating, “I’m sorry we didn’t get a chance to m...eet for hearing prep, just meet me fifteen minutes early in the courthouse lobby to go over things. I brought this up to Christopher and asked him to correct his itemized billing and he simply did not do so. He ignored me, he actually threatened to quit nest every time we disagreed and eventually withdrew after I pushed for reasonable requests consistently such as access to court held assets is filing motions! I later learned that Christopher had a couple of DUI’s and was actually serving a sentence requiring him to spend every evening from 7pm-7am in jail for the next 12 months during our case. Christopher never once disclosed this info which I believe he should have. Been required to do from an ethics standpoint! Stay away from this crook, I am filing a case against him Currently and affidavits to the states attorneys office for his blatant misconduct and poor advocacy and overcharging me causing irreparable damage to my case. Chris also withheld information and played “detective,” for whatever reason he seemed more driven to that end than providing representation to a paying client in need. The victims assistance office claims I have, “a strong case” against Mr. Miller and urges me to file and prosecute at state level.
