The mortgage company would not respond promptly to my client and, when they did respond, the Client always received a different a ... nswer or explanation. Once retained by the client, we quickly intervened. These issues immediately stopped and we were able to work out a loan modification within a few months. The loan modification was approved soon after, reducing my client's mortgage payment by over 760 dollars per month. A client came in to see me regarding an impending repossession of his vehicles. He had two cars and was behind on 3 months worth of payments on both cars. The car creditor was about to repossess the ... vehicles for the lack of payment. Once the client retained my services I a Chapter 13 bankruptcy for him the same day. The bankruptcy protection immediately halted the repossession efforts of the creditor and allowed my client to start an affordable repayment plan at a reduced principal balance and a reduced interest rate. Now my client can actually afford to pay for his vehicles and back is on the road to a healthy financial life.

Two clients came in to see me about a looming foreclosure. They only had two weeks to develop a plan to stop the foreclosure. They needed advice and had some money to offer the mortgage company but not ... enough to fully catch up the missed payments. I drafted a forbearance agreement / offer and presented it to the mortgage company on their behalf. The mortgage company approved the agreement and the home was pulled off the foreclosure list. The clients were able to keep their house and catch up the payments in a way that was affordable to them. I helped them avoid bankruptcy and, instead, pursue a forbearance agreement with the mortgage company.
