Tiffany Dawn Mir

Tiffany Mir is the Managing Partner at Law Office of Tiffany Mir. She represents clients for Bankruptcy, Immigration, Family Law, and Criminal cases. Her clients are mostly from Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

In immigration, she has extensive experience in filing PERM applications, H1B visas, L visas, K visas, and Adjustment of Status applications. In bankruptcy, Ms Mir has successfully represented clients for filing Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.

Prior to founding and leading the Law Office of Tiffany Mir, Ms Mir was the Head of Immigration department at a major law firm. Her responsibilities included generating new business, interviewing potential clients, and advising clients in Immigration Law. Handled both business and family based immigration and non-immigrant cases. She built extensive experience with Labor Certifications, H visas, L visas and R visas and Adjustment of Status applications. She also successfully represented clients at removal hearings and at customs.

Before joining the law firm, Ms Mir was In-house Counsel for publicly traded technology Professional Services company. Provided legal advice to top management; drafted, reviewed, and negotiated contracts; initiated collection activities; addressed and resolved employment law issues. Researched Legal issues. Handled all employment based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions.

Public Speaking & Extra Curricular Activities

Throughout her career, Ms Mir has been active in the local community. For a while, she taught International Business Law, Legal Issues in E-Commerce, and Technology Law for University of Dallas Graduate School of Management. Legal aspects of E-Commerce focused on jurisdiction, contracts, business organization and formation, taxation, intellectual property, and crime. International Business Law focused on international treaties and contracts, international organizations, international business structures, and touched on banking and labor laws.
