Biography

Board-Certified Criminal Defense Attorney and former Felony Prosecutor in Tarrant County, Texas

We handle all Misdemeanors and Felonies in Tarrant County, Texas, whether you are a Juvenile or an Adult, from misdemeanor DWI all the way up to Murder.

Most of our clients who are arrested for DWI made a bad decision but don't want that decision to affect the rest of their lives. We fight hard to potentially keep this case off their record, get them probation instead of jail time, and when possible get the charge dismissed or reduced.

Any child between the ages of 10 and 16 when they commit a crime are referred to the Juvenile Justice System. Our goal is to: 1) make sure the police and the State did their job correctly; 2) help rehabilitate the child so they do not return, and 3) whenever possible, keep this off their record.

Anyone accused of a sexual offense knows how serious the allegations are and the possibility of substantial prison time. Often, there is little corroborating evidence other than the alleged victim's word. We fight to make sure our clients are treated fairly and hold the State to their burden.

Charges of assault, terroristic threat, harassment, aggravated assault, choking, and everything in between. Most violent offenses are not on video and few witnesses. You have the right to self-defense and defense of others. It's important to know your rights and know when to fight these cases.

Whether you are charged with a misdemeanor Assault Family Violence or a Terroristic Threat, or a felony involving family violence or Aggravated Assault, we can help. A family violence finding on your record can affect your job, housing, and employment. You absolutely need an experienced attorney.

Jonathan Lowe is a great attorney

Jonathan Lowe was my attorney in tarrant county in 2024. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the law and my case. He was in constant contact with me and did everything in his power to get me the best deal for my case. He always replied back almost instantly to my emails and always kept me in...formed. He was by far one of if not the best attorney I’ve had. If your in need of a great attorney Jonathan Lowe is a great choice. I would use him again in an instant and anytime someone asks me for a referral he is the name I give them. I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome in my case thanks to attorney Lowe.

Review

Jonathan Lowe is a phenomenal lawyer and even better human being. The man will fight alongside your corner of the ring and see everything to the very end. I have nothing but the most uplifting things . I was originally felony possession of a cannaboid and a DWI. Thankfully I was appointed Jonathan L...owe and he managed to get the felony charged for the cannaboid product dismissed and managed to work his magic to where I didn’t get charged with DWI. The man is the Saul Goodman of court appointed lawyers n I wish nothing but the best of him .

Need a good lawyer?

Had a small case (nothing crazy) and was struggling to find a lawyer that was affordable enough. Ended up going to Court a second time and was able to get a C.A.L. Talked to Jonathan about my whole situation and how I spent a little time in the County, Told Jonathan I truly thought I got the short en...d of the stick for this little case, thankfully Jonathan thought the same thing. Im truly grateful for how he was able to help me win my case. I pray to God me or my siblings or my kids in the future never have troubles with the law but I guess if I do trust me Jonathan is going to be my first call.

Prospective Central Market Employee.

Tarrant county case. 2 counts. Third Degree Felony: Possession of a controlled substance , Penalty Group:1, => (equal to or greater than) an amount of one gram OR =<(equal to or less than) an amount of 4 grams. Class A misdemeanor: Resisting Arrest during search and/or transport Disposition ...reached was a plea bargain, which was: The misdemeanor count was dropped. The 3rd degree felony count was reduced to a lower tiered felony, a state jail felony. And a special punishment provision was implemented, specifically it was agreed that I was convicted of a felony offense, however any punishment of jail time would be within the punishment range for a class A misdemeanor and would be served in the custody of the sheriff in the county jail. 17 days in jail was the plea bargain. I had been held in detention for more than 17 days, and credited the time I had prior. Therefore my punishment was complete, and my sentence satisfied. Mr Lowe expressed a genuine concern and empathy. I have been left no doubt about the authenticity of Mr. Lowes professional practice. He always did exactly and more. He was very clear about what he could do and was very forthcoming about the possible outcomes. In less than a week of being appointed to represent me, we had a very through meeting, and it was very clear of our strategy, and Mr. Lowe emphasized his reluctance to make a guarantees. We discussed outcomes. He let me know that he what to expect next. And he was able to get an outcome that I was not anticipating. He even called my father weeks after our business concluded, and was curious about how I was living. That is excellence. Above and beyond a duty. Mr. Lowe distinguished himself in my opinion to a greater standard than is required in his profession. I will recommend Mr. Lowe to provide legal representation and/counsel for anyone. From now on, when someone asks me for an attorney referral I will have an answer when I share my contact info related to Lowe Law Firm LLC and Mr. Jonathan Lowe.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
