Biography
Ron has practiced for 32 years in a progressively more challenging legal career. He started his career in Austin at the Ralroad Commission of Texas as a Hearings Examiner in the Transportation Division. He was ultimately promoted to the position of Assistant Director, leading a team of up to 7 attorneys holding hearings on transportation rates and operating authority.
Ron then transitioned to the City of Dallas, where he represented the city before state and federal agencies, as well as in state and federal courts on challenges to ordinances and city actions.
He has continued to represent municipalities in private practice since 2000, serving as City Attorney for several cities and representing others on special projects and litigation. In addition to his municipal practice, he advises private clients on litigation, employment matters, energy law, and real estate.
