It was the end of a long career. I had been in education, first as a teacher, and then as a school counselor for 28 years. But I was done. As much as I loved working with childen and their families, the business of education had changed - and I had lost my joy. So, I retired and jumped off the highest cliff I could finds- I entered law school! It had always been one of those dreams that I kept in the back of my mind but never believed it could come true.
To be perfectly honest, it was the hardest challenge I had ever faced! But while in law school, I took a class in estate planning and probate. I was hooked! My professor was outstanding and he really made this area of law come alive (no pun intended!) When I was 19 my mom died (without a Will) and I witnessed first-hand how imortant is is to have a plan in place to protect your family. Without a doubt, I knew this was the area of law in which I wanted to focus my practice.
I am a mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. My family is the most important thing in my life. Undoubtedly, you feel the same about your family. Our Will
After talking with Paula Hartsfield, my husband and I agreed that we desperately needed to have a Will in the event that something would happen to us and we wouldn't be able to voice our wishes for family, property and finances. Paula Hartsfield sat with us and explained every option for making this...
"Paula is a great estate planning attorney and is one of only a few in the area that commits to giving her clients more than just a set of legal documents. She's a great advisor."
"I referred a client who lives in Tyler to Paula. I received glowing reviews from my client of Paula's work with her on a probate issue. Paula has a wonderful compassion for her clients and I would highly recommend her for all matters."
"I endorse this lawyer. Paula is intelligent and responsive. She is able to represent her clients' interests well."
